What Deliver will Deliver
WPP, with active support and collaboration from Wunderman, completed the formation of Deliver. Deliver will distribute work among the group’s stable of digital agencies—Wunderman included—to ensure clients get the best solutions at the best price.
Neal Prescott, who created an offshore digital production capability for Digitas, was recruited as Deliver’s CEO. Neal’s charge is clear: leverage WPP’s existing production capabilities in Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America and South Africa in a “distributed model” that uses the scale of WPP’s digital production to provide cost-effective digital production and to channel assignments to the best qualified resources within WPP.
Wunderman agencies that will support Deliver—and benefit from the increased scale and work that is channeled through it—include Actis Systems (Russia), AGENDA (China), Aqua (South Africa), Studiocom (via its Offshore Guys subsidiary in Colombia) and ZAAZ (Seattle). In addition, other WPP agencies involved are The Ogilvy Group, BLUE (China/Singapore), Quasar (India) and Schematic (Los Angeles/Costa Rica).
Wunderman was a core player as Deliver was taking shape because our strategic vision for a strong global digital capability is in total alignment with what WPP wants to achieve. When agencies aggregate their scale, the quality of work gets better and increased efficiencies result. Yet only WPP has the resources to assemble such an offering; no single agency could drive the scale or amass the resources and investment to make it reality. No doubt our clients will benefit.
